Blending electrifying Caribbean rhythms with global urban beats, the Out of This World (OOTW) Music Fest returns as one of the most anticipated entertainment events on the regional calendar.

The world-class, one-day music fest takes over the Festival Green at Camana Bay on Saturday, 30 May, bringing together a stellar lineup of international icons and home-grown talent.

This year’s headliners include Jamaican dancehall legend Vybz Kartel, multi-platinum American hip-hop star Nelly, and Trinidadian soca powerhouse Voice.

“The festival promises a mix of global superstars and talented local artists to deliver a dynamic, high-energy Caribbean music experience for everyone,” says John Watler, event organiser.

Last year’s event drew more than 6,000 festival-goers, uniting the community through the universal language of music. The festival also gives back, donating $5,000 to the YMCA during this year’s pre-sale phase.

Known by such monikers as Worl’ Boss and King of Dancehall, Kartel (born Adidja Azim Palmer) has collaborated with global stars including Rihanna, Missy Elliott and Major Lazer, and continues to dominate charts with a prolific stream of releases.

Recent tracks include ‘Victory’, ‘Panic’ (with Shenseea) and ‘2026’, along with a feature on Chris Brown’s new album, ‘Brown’.

Among his most iconic hits are ‘Clarks’, ‘Romping Shop’ (featuring Spice) and ‘Fever’.

The dancehall superstar has several tour dates and major festival appearances scheduled this year, following 2025’s Worl’ Boss tour.

Nelly

American rapper and singer Nelly (Cornell Iral Haynes Jr.) is known for bridging rap and country music, creating chart-topping hits through his signature mix of melodic hip hop and pop crossover appeal.

Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, he shot to fame with his 2000 debut album ‘Country Grammar’, now certified diamond. The three-time Grammy award-winner is best known for his hits ‘Hot in Herre’, ‘Dilemma’, ‘Country Grammar’, ‘Ride Wit Me‘, and ‘Just a Dream’.

Nelly has collaborated with artists such as Tim McGraw on ‘Over and Over’ and Florida Georgia Line on the multi-platinum hit ‘Cruise’ and ‘Lil Bit’.

He recently appeared as a special guest on Janet Jackson’s tour and headlined his own ‘Where The Party At’ global tour, a 54-date run in 2025.

Voice

Aaron ‘Voice’ St. Louis is a celebrated soca artist and songwriter known for his uplifting, message-driven music.

Hailing from Trinidad, he made history in 2016 as the youngest artist to win the International Soca Monarch title at age 23 with his hit song ‘Cheers to Life’. He went on to secure the crown for three consecutive years (2016-2018).

Voice is lauded for blending infectious soca beats with melodic storytelling, often focusing on themes of life, love and positivity, as heard in his hit ‘Cyah Behave’.
