RF Bank & Trust is supporting the efforts of non-profit Beacon Farms, which is dedicated to transforming lives through sustainable agriculture and recovery programmes.

Through sponsoring rehabilitation and training for Beacon Farms residents, as well as garden beds that contribute to the farm’s ongoing operations, RF is helping to provide meaningful employment, hands-on agricultural skills, and a supportive environment for individuals in recovery from substance abuse.

This partnership also aids in the farm’s mission to promote sustainable farming practices that strengthen food security in the Cayman Islands.

This sponsorship reflects RF Bank & Trust’s corporate philanthropy pillars of health and
environmental stewardship – promoting wellness through rehabilitation while supporting
initiatives that protect and preserve the natural environment.

“Beacon Farms is doing remarkable work to empower individuals while advancing sustainable agriculture in the Cayman Islands,” said Julian Phiri, RF financial advisor. “Supporting this initiative aligns perfectly with our commitment to creating lasting, positive change in the communities we serve.”

  1. Government agencies also need to support and subsidize this sustainable farming project for the 3 islands. Hurricanes will not affect this type of farming.

OffRegs and CUC need to assist in approving this sustainable farming project their Solar Power farming application, which was denied. Solar Power is a critical path in bring down the cost of their sustainable crop harvest. Which relates to lower prices at the Cayman grocery stores.

Beacon Farms mission is an awesome and critical initiative for the future of Cayman citizens to be sustainable from the worlds growing costs of farm production.
