The Cayman Islands Airports Authority has announced the promotion of two long-serving Caymanian employees at the Charles Kirkconnell International Airport on Cayman Brac.
Franceska Scott and Rodney Dixon, both with 17 years of service at the Brac airport, were elevated to supervisory positions following a successful recruitment process.

Scott was promoted to Aeronautical Information Services (AIS) supervisor. In her role, she is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timely delivery of critical flight information, including charts, publications and NOTAMs, which support safe and efficient air navigation.
A member of the AIS department since 2008, Scott has consistently been recognised for her professionalism and leadership.

Dixon was promoted to the role of Air Traffic Control (ATC) supervisor, overseeing daily air traffic operations and compliance with international aviation standards. He has been part of the Brac airport’s ATC department since 2008 and is known for his strong operational knowledge and leadership skills.
Holding an MBA in international business, Dixon has also completed advanced supervisory training with EUROCONTROL and Takeoff Aviation Academy in the UK, further strengthening his capabilities in managing air traffic operations.
Both Scott and Dixon have completed several key training programmes, including the ILM Level 3 Certificate in leadership and management, and are certified as on-the-job training instructors.
Charles Kirkconnell International Airport Manager Joshua Burke praised both employees, noting their significant contributions to airport safety and efficiency.
“We are very proud to acknowledge the promotions of these two exemplary employees, both of whom are from Cayman Brac,” Burke said in a press release.
“These are both vital roles at the Airport and we are confident in both Franceska and Rodney’s professional abilities to successfully fulfil the requirements for their new posts.”
