Cayman’s newest hotel, ONE | GT, has appointed two Caymanians to its leadership team ahead of its official opening this winter.

In a statement, the hotel said Donnette Hoilett and Cashema Clarke would strengthen operations and drive commercial success at the George Town destination, as well as playing pivotal roles in shaping the hotel’s internal culture and external market positioning.

New appointments

This news follows the recent appointments of hotelier Andrew Barlow as general manager and Lucy Taylor as director of sales and marketing. ONE | GT’s leadership team also includes Diana Jimenez Garcia, director of rooms with additional appointments to be announced in the coming months.

The hotel’s new director of sales, Donnette Hoilett, was most recently director of sales at Hampton by Hilton Grand Cayman, where she successfully spearheaded the launch of the brand on island. Her career also includes leadership roles at the Grand Cayman Marriott Resort and The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman, where she was recognised with multiple awards for leadership and performance.

Cashema Clarke joins as ONE | GT’s director of human resources. Clarke has more than 20 years of experience across the Cayman Islands’ public and private sectors, including leadership roles at the Cayman Islands Health Services Authority, Palm Heights Hotel, Dart and Red Sail Sports.
