Walkers, the international legal and professional services firm, is honoured to share that employees in the Cayman office have once again come together to support meaningful causes across our community.

Through the firm’s yearlong salary pledge programme, employees contributed a portion of their salaries each month in 2025 to raise funds for four employee-voted charities at the start of 2026.

To celebrate this year’s recipients, the Walkers Charity Committee welcomed all employees to their annual Coffee + Conversations event. It created a space for everyone to enjoy pastries, coffee and meaningful connection with colleagues and representatives from the selected charities.

The chosen charities receiving employee donations are:

  • Alex Panton Foundation
  • Meals on Wheels
  • Jasmine
  • Acts of Random Kindness

Rob Jackson, Cayman Islands Office Managing Partner, said, “Supporting the Cayman community is fundamental to who we are as a firm. Through this year’s workplace giving programme, our team have continued to show their commitment to uplifting organisations that make a real difference in people’s lives. We are incredibly proud of our employees’ generosity and grateful to the four chosen charities for
the essential work they do for our islands.”

Emily Kelly of the Alex Panton Foundation said, “The Alex Panton Foundation is honoured to be selected as one of the beneficiaries of the Walkers Community Giving Initiative. Support like this reflects our community’s growing recognition of the importance of improving the mental health of children and young adults in the Cayman Islands. We rely on the generosity of our community to create lasting impact, and we are deeply grateful to Walkers for supporting and recognising this vital work.”

Sophie Munden of Jasmine said, “We are incredibly grateful to Walkers for their continued generosity and longstanding support of Jasmine. Thanks to partners like Walkers, we were able to support a record number of patient numbers in 2025, providing care for an average of 80 patients each month. Every day, we see the profound impact this care has on patients, families, and loved ones, and Walkers’ support ensures these essential services remain available to anyone who needs them, completely free of charge.”

Acts of Random Kindness representative, Tara Nielsen said, “ARK is incredibly grateful to the employees of Walkers who have made this support possible. ARK relies on individual and corporate donations to maintain our invaluable and life changing programs. We are delighted to have been chosen for this kind donation and can promise this funding will have a positive impact for the most vulnerable children and families in Grand Cayman. Thank you!”
