Winners have emerged from round one of the 2026 Cayman Islands Watercraft Association National Tour, which kicked off on Sunday, 22 March at the South Sound Dock.
“With 40 registered riders across five classes, the event delivered one of the strongest turnouts in recent years,” said the association.
The day was characterised by a diverse field that included emerging talent, first-time competitors and veteran riders returning to the sport after multi-year absences.

“Beyond local competition, the CIWA National Tour continues to serve as a key development platform for riders aiming to compete internationally,” the association said, adding, “The series provides a pathway for qualification to the IJSBA World Finals in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, where top riders from the amateur and pro classes will have the opportunity to represent Team Cayman this October.”
