Customers of internet providers Digicel and Logic were without service for part of Sunday afternoon, 12 April.
A post on Digicel Cayman’s Instagram account said its customers were experiencing a temporary issue affecting Digicel+ and IPTV services.

“Our engineers are working to restore full service as quickly as possible,” the post read.
On Logic Cayman’s Instagram account, they said, “We’re currently investigating an issue affecting services. Our team is working to resolve this as quickly as possible.”
It is not clear whether the outages were island wide. Shortly after 1pm, some Logic customers were posting on social media that their internet was back up.
The Compass has reached out to both Logic and Digicel, as well as representatives from government utility provider OfReg to gather further details about the outages.
