Police are investigating the shooting of a man in Savannah Thursday afternoon.
The victim showed up at the Cayman Islands Hospital with superficial injuries to his back, believed to be gun-shot wounds, police said.
The victim said the shooting happened on Hirst Road near the Countryside shopping plaza at about 2.30pm Thursday.
He told police he flagged down a dark blue small Hyundai vehicle driven by a man with dreadlocks, who took him to hospital.
Police are asking the driver to contact them on 949-4222.
