Jane van der Bol, executive director of the Cayman Islands Tourism Association, has been named president-elect of the Society of Incentive and Travel Executives Florida for 2012.
She attended the board installation on 13 January on board the Celebrity Equinox in Port Everglades. The meeting was followed by a site inspection. Ms van der Bol said she brought valuable feedback and experience to the Cayman Islands Tourism Association from her involvement with SITE Florida.
“It is the objective of SITE Florida to provide prime networking and educational opportunities that are relevant to its members during these challenging and interesting times,” she said. “This association is about enhancing your experience and adding value to you and your organisation. SITE Global is a worldwide organisation of business professionals dedicated to the recognition and development of motivational and performance improvement strategies of which travel is a key component.”
Incentive travel is one of the tourism association’s focuses under Ms van der Bol’s stewardship as executive director of the Cayman Islands Tourism Association.
