What is the ‘it’ factor?

A friend inspired me recently with these words and these thoughts. They said, “I don’t know a thing about how to make it. All I know is that you have to do what you love with all of your heart, and because of this, the right people will keep showing up in your life over and over again. They will take what you love and turn it into a business. Your job is to just keep creating and keep giving.”

So here are my thoughts on this: The most important thing in life is to not get so worried and caught up about the “how” in life. The universe is begging for us to just put things in motion. It’s like an excited child, waiting for us to find our gift, then open it up to the world. But how can we expect the universe to carry our dream for us if we don’t give it the very thing it needs to carry?

What we’re responsible for is to do what we love the most. Then, as we’re doing and being what we love, I think that the universe will figure out the how. We just have to keep showing up. Sometimes, over and over again and again and sometimes even again!

So many times, we over-think “how” we’re going do it that we do the worst thing of all…we don’t do it! Just simply be committed to doing what you love…no matter what. See if there is a niche market for it, see if it is successful and just start or keep doing it.

Stop worrying about how your dream is going to work. Just start working on your dream. The time will never be “right” or “perfect”. If you wait for it to be “perfect”, it won’t happen. All that has occurred is that you will have hid behind the “it’s-not-perfect-yet” excuse that is a form of self-sabotage. And if you’ve already been pursuing a dream and you’re feeling defeated? Get up, get back up and keep creating and keep doing and somehow, somewhere the universe will answer and the right people will show up; every time!

And don’t worry about the competition because they are not you!

There is only one of you and that one has not and cannot be duplicated; EVER! I was told recently by another creative person that even if I were to stop doing all that I have done I still would have been farther ahead than most that just think about doing and haven’t done and in essence I am still a success story no matter what. That inspired me and I hope it inspires you to just keep doing what you love and wait for the universe to reward you because it will one day soon and one day the right people and the right opportunities will manifest themselves into your world.

But you must think positive thoughts and will it to yourself. Claim it today and always celebrate people and their achievements and when it is your time they will do the same for you. And remember that Haterades not Gatorade; one is good for you and the other one will eat you alive. You just have to stay positive, believe, use your resources and it will happen.
