Cayman Islands national cricket team is in Malaysia and anxious to gain promotion.
It is an opportunity to be promoted to Division 4 in the International Cricket Council World Cricket League and to be rewarded very handsomely.
Under new captain Ronald Ebanks who will be assisted by veteran Steve Gordon, the team is a nice balance of youth and experience. They have all trained hard for months are determined to finish in the top two to gain promotion. Other countries in Division 5 are hosts Malaysia, Tanzania, Guernsey, Jersey and Nigeria.

Cayman play Guernsey this Thursday, Malaysia the next day, Nigeria on Sunday, Jersey on Monday, Tanzania on Wednesday and hope to be in the playoffs from Thursday of next week.
