Archies continue to be a credible threat around domino tables.
The squad beat Island All Stars by 20 points in the latest round of the Cayman Islands Domino Association 2014-2015 National League. Horace “Waterman” Grant and Stanley “Derrick” Freckleton led Archies to victory last Sunday while All Stars relied on a team effort. The match referees were Kendal Connor, George Dixon, and Kelvin Dixon.
A perennial contender, Archies are building on their form earlier this season. Archies went into the second half of the campaign second in the standings, behind All Stars and ahead of East End Mystical Youth, Singh’s Roti Shop, team Ultra and Eastern Star.
The next scheduled matches will take place from roughly 2:30 p.m. on March 23 in East End. Mystical Youth challenge Ultra at Pirates Cove Bar while Eastern Star battle Roti at Eastern Star Bar.
