Large areas of George Town and West Bay lost power Wednesday afternoon after a Caribbean Utilities Company generating unit cut out.
Power was restored by 5 p.m. after being out for about an hour.
In a statement from the utility company, CUC apologized to its customers for any inconvenience caused by the outage.
