Jose Sanchez denied possession of an unlicensed firearm during a brief appearance at Grand Court on Friday.
Sanchez is charged with being in possession of a 9mm semi-automatic pistol at the Everglo bar in Bodden Town on July 4.
He was remanded in custody and the case was set for mention on Aug. 28.
