I don’t understand what the issue with having a bill of rights in the constitution is. The UK may not have it formally written, however it is one of those ‘unwritten’ things which have been documented over the years.
Other representative democratic countries have a bill of rights or charter, for example, Canada.
I think having one would be beneficial to our Islands. It clarifies what rights we have. A constitution can be amended should, decades down the road, we decide an alteration is needed.
