DHL has emphasized that changes pertaining to their U.S. domestic market will not impact other regions and countries, such as the Caribbean
‘There has been some misconception regarding the status of DHL Express in Cayman and we want to reassure our clients and partners that structural changes in DHL USA do not impact our products, operations, and the high level of service they have grown accustomed to,’ stated Mark Woollard, Sales Manager of DHL Cayman.
With the goal of reducing U.S. operating costs, plans to discontinue ground services in the American market were recently announced.
Instead, DHL Express will focus on international shipping.
DHL will continue to expand its international product portfolio aimed at increasing efficiency, visibility, and ease of importing and exporting for local businesses.
