Exercise can help chronic pain

If you’re at all like me, just skipping a few days of exercise and good physical activity leads to an increase in body aches and pains, lethargy, a tendency to eat a little more (or a lot more) and a general feeling of being low in energy.

The weather of the past two weeks has probably affected you physically and interrupted your exercise routine. You may be feeling tension or a slight grumpiness. You may also have experienced a flare-up in physical pain with symptoms of arthritis, inflammation, stiffness and soreness.

Assess how you are feeling, seek professional help if necessary and plan a nice personal project to get yourself feeling mobile, flexible, relaxed and pain-free.

If you hesitate in being more active due to injury or arthritic pain, know that you can do much to participate in your own healing, health and wellness. The important thing is to get moving and get moving with the right plan that works for you. It’s also vital that you are supplied with proper nutrition.
