DMS Dynamitez seeked out a win over the Andro Killa-Watts 19-13 behind two TD passes from QB Jessica Cribb in the Zulu’s sponsored Red Bull Flag Football women’s league.
Delicia Ebanks was all over the field with four tackles to compliment a rushing TD. Andro had quality QB play from Jo Richards, who had eight completions and two TDs.
Dionne Whittaker led the Zulu Warriors over the Maples TD Divas 22-18. Whittaker, an ambassador to the sport on and off the field, had three sacks on defense while contributing a TD pass on defense.
Ali Amos threw a TD and ran another score in while Kate Marshall was on the receiving end of both TD passes.
For Maples, Tajae Grey threw a TD while Cassianne Lawrence scored on a run. Walkers Wonders shutout the Ace Paints lady Panthers 33-0 behind twelve completions and five TDs from QB Jordana Clarke.
Five of those passes and three of those TDs went to Clarke’s favourite target Krishan Welcome as the Wonders ran their record to 2-0.
