A Health and Vitality Expo will be
held in Camana Bay’s Arts and Recreation Centre on Saturday, 6 November.
Organisers say the free event will
be a “one-stop shop for everything relating to health, exercise and overall
wellness”.
“Especially with the New Year soon
upon us, it is an opportune time to get healthy living habits at the forefront
of everyone’s minds,” said Dan Charleston, market manager at dms Broadcasting,
which has partnered with Progressive Distributors, Generali Worldwide, the Cayman
Islands Health Services Authority and the Foster’s Healthy Lifestyles Programme
to host the expo.
The all-day expo will take place
between 10am and 5pm, and feature health products, services and information.
There will also be free product samples, as well as demonstrations and
activities, including yoga, dance and personal training.
Maureen Cubbon, marketing manager
at Generali Worldwide said: “We are all passionate about health and wellness
and feel it is important to have an event that can show the people of Cayman
the steps they can take towards a healthier life. With more than enough room to
accommodate the masses at Camana Bay, we hope to see a lot of familiar faces
out there to see what all the excitement is about.”
Among those with stalls at the expo
will be Beyond Basics, Cayman Islands Cancer Society, Cayman Pharmacy Group,
Cayman Sports, ChiroSpa Clinic, dms Broadcasting, Dunkin’ Donuts, Energy
Studio, Fidelity, Foster’s Healthy Lifestyles Programme, Cayman Islands Health
Services Authority, GNC, Health Care Pharmacy, KRI Performing Arts School, KY
Imaging, Solutions and TrinCay Medical Services.
