The Caricom region, specifically nine venue countries, will be host to Cricket world Cup 2007.
In order to ensure a safe and secure environment for the events, the heads of government at the 27th Conference held last July in St. Kitts and Nevis agreed to establish a Caricom Single Domestic Space for the period 1 February to 15 May.
The SDS comprises of Dominica and the venue states.
The implementation of the Caricom Visa allows for clearance for nationals to travel freely within the SDS.
Nationals travelling on Cayman passports will not require a visa to travel within the SDS during the period of 1 February to 15 May; however visa will once again be in effect as of 16 May.
The Jamaican Consulate office in Cayman wishes to advise the public that its office will continue to issue entry visas for persons travelling to Jamaica before 1 February.
The office will not issue entry visas for travel to Jamaica between 1 February and 15 May.
Please note that nationals of all countries require the Caricom special visa to enter the single domestic space during the period 1 February to 15 May except nationals from the following countries and their overseas territories:
Canada
France @OCTs
Germany
Japan
Ireland
National and residents of Caricom member states except Haiti
Italy
South Africa
Spain
The Netherlands and OCTs
United Kingdom and dependent territories
United States and dependent territories
And any other nationals who already enjoy before 1 February a form of status conferred by any of the immigration authorities of the 10 countries which form the single domestic space and are listed below.

Grenada
Guyana
Jamaica
St. Kitts and Nevis
Saint Lucia
St. Vincent and the Grenadines
