TheIslands Football Association hasW.D. United S.C.the association owing to the club’s inability to fulfil its fixture obligations in CIFA’s Senior League.
CIFA’s Executive Committee decided to expel W.D. United S.C. after the club failed to field a team for the second time during the 2006/2007 domestic league season, despite warnings of the violations.
The club was also fined and its results expunged for the season.
‘W.D. United S.C. will not be considered for re-registration with CIFA until the end of the 2007/2008 domestic league season,’ said CIFA Secretary General Bruce Blake. ‘The players currently registered with this club are restricted from registering with another CIFA member-club until the end of the 2007/2008 domestic league season.’
