The orientation session takes place at 6:00pm on Thursday, 20th September at the Fitness Connection facility on South Church Street, and will focus primarily on nutrition and the participants making a decision about what days the training will actually take place. Registered nutritionist and Caymanian Compass columnist Andrea Hill will talk with attendees about good eating habits and Laura Ribbins of Fitness Connection will give running and walking tips. Actual training will start once a time is agreed upon by those at the meeting. The regimen will consist of running and walking a few times per week.

‘We are so glad Laura is offering this programme again this year,’ says Rhonda Kelly of Kelly Holding Ltd., organizer of the Marathon. ‘Last year, many people attributed their great race results to training with her. I encourage everyone, whether novice or veteran runners, to register for the half marathon race and then take advantage of these free sessions.’
