FirstCaribbean Consumer Loan customers Ciceron Alexis and Rodimiro Lopez are the happy winners of the Bank’s Christmas Loans Promotion Think Beyond the Present, a special cash drawing that took place last month as part of a regional holiday campaign encouraging loan applicants to dream big.
Think Beyond the Present ran during the month of December and was open to any successful consumer loan applicants.
‘Qualifying applicants were each entered into a weekly draw,’ explains Home Finance Manager Famida Mohammed. ‘They each had a chance to win a weekly cash prize of $500 as well as a grand prize of $5000. The idea was to help consumer loan customers realize their dreams by assisting them with funds for a new car, a memorable wedding, vacation or even with home improvements.’
There were two weekly prizes, which were drawn on the 15 and 22 December. Subsequently all applicants, including winners of the weekly prizes, were entered in a final grand prize drawing which took place 6 January.
Rodimiro Lopez was the lucky winner of the first weekly $500 prize; Ciceron Alexis won both the second weekly prize and then went on to be the lucky winner of the grand prize – taking home a total of $5,500.
‘I’m thrilled,’ said Mr. Alexis: he says. ‘My loan was approved, plus I won some extra cash. How could I not be happy?’
