It is so good of the Planning Department to pay so much attention to illegal business signs along the West Bay Road and they have employed someone to ensure compliance. I am sure the people of Cayman will sleep better at night.
Maybe I am being too hard. The Planning Department needs to put as much effort into real concerns of the people such as the continued usage of residential areas for very large trucks, the continued building of illegal extensions and the building of small Garrison-type accommodation all over the island without the proper planning permission and no proper utilities such as water and electricity.
The small businessman is the target, easy target may I add, in this issue and no one is taking care of the residents’ concerns.
