Butterfield Bank (Cayman) Limited and Cayman Airways Ltd. announced that their Butterfield Miles loyalty programme has earned customers over 6 million air miles in its first year.
The programme awards Butterfield Bank customers free air miles on Cayman Airways every time they use their Visa Gold credit card to make purchases of any kind.
‘Butterfield customers have earned the equivalent of 600 free airline tickets since Butterfield Miles was launched last year,’ said Mike Adam, Cayman Airways CEO. ‘Our Sir Turtle Rewards Programme is the fastest way to earn free travel, as the mileage requirement for a free ticket is less than half of the miles required by other airline programmes.’
Becoming a Butterfield Miles member is easy. Once you hold a Butterfield Bank Visa Gold credit card and are a Cayman Airways Sir Turtle Rewards member, then you simply apply to the Butterfield Miles programme.
Application forms are available at any Butterfield Bank branch and at the Cayman Airways ticket office.
The annual membership fee is US$10.
