The Cayman Islands office of Rawlinson & Hunter recently showcased their services as Gold Sponsors of the 2005 STEP Caribbean Conference, which was held 9-11 May at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Miami.
The conference hosted more than 250 delegates from the Caribbean, the US, Canada, South America and Europe for the three-day event. This included representation from a number of Cayman based law firms and trust companies.
Several topical issues were addressed at the event, including Modernization of Trust Law, Confidentiality, The OECD Picture, Directors’ – Duties, Liabilities and Indemnities and Insuring the Risk.
The Rawlinson & Hunter international firm was represented by a contingent from the Cayman Islands, the BVI and the UK and Philip Prettejohn, senior partner from the UK firm, featured as a speaker on the second day.
