Wareham and Potts join Campbells

The Bar of the Cayman Islands has two new attorneys, but they come with a wealth of experience elsewhere.

At a recent application in the Grand Court before Mr. Justice Dale Sanderson, Ms Jane Wareham and Mr. Alex Potts were admitted to practise as Attorneys-at-Law. Both have recently joined the firm of Campbells.

Ms Wareham worked for the previous six years within the banking industry both in London and the Cayman Islands, having been admitted as a solicitor in the UK in July 1996. She is knowledgeable in cross-border legal issues for asset protection and estate planning.

She has spoken and written articles on related subjects for the International Bar Association and Trusts and Estates Practitioners Journal. Ms. Wareham joins Campbells in the Corporate and Commercial Department, focusing on shipping, insurance, mutual funds and trust matters.

Mr. Potts advises and acts for companies, partnerships and private clients in a wide range of commercial disputes, including insurance and reinsurance, contract, tort, and commercial fraud. He has worked as a barrister in the UK for the past 5 years. He was also a Judicial Assistant to the Court of Appeal of England and Wales, and an Associate at the Federal Court of Australia. Mr. Potts joins Campbells’ expanding Litigation Department.
