The Ministry for Health and Human Services joined the global campaign to promote good mental health on World Mental Health Day – 10 October – by hosting an open house event in Heroes Square.
The occasion brought together several agencies that provide mental health services to offer the public an opportunity to learn more about them.
Visiting the display, Minister for Health and Human Services Anthony Eden, said: ‘World Mental Health Day gives us a chance to reflect on the importance of a healthy mind and body, and it is my hope that events like these will serve to heighten public awareness about mental health, as well as promote understanding and improve attitudes about mental disorders.’
