HOT 104.1FM’s HOT SMAX Domino Tournament ended in a grand finale 9 October at The Country and Western Bar and Restaurant in Red Bay.
The radio station awarded the lucky winners with trophies and cash prizes, following a nail-bighting battle between eight teams.
The winning team, known as The Technical Difficulties Team, consisted of Kisha Lyn and Linbern Eden. Orville Daniels, HOT morning personality, presented them with the HOT SMAX champion trophy and a cash prize of US$300.
A team called Marley’s Ghost, represented by Garth Salamon and Gifford Blidgely came in second place and was awarded US$100 and a runners-up trophy.
‘We are very proud of the finalists and all those involved in the tournament,’ said Kole Porter, dms Broadcasting marketing and promotions manager, in a press release.
‘The competition was fierce, making it an exciting afternoon for everyone. It gives HOT 104.1FM great pleasure to host an event like this and support one of Cayman Islands’ favourite pursuits.’
