The Cayman Islands Amateur Swim Association (CIASA) recently reaffirmed that Cayman will be sending a team to the CARIFTA Swim Championships.
A team of 11-17 yr olds will be led by coaches David Kelsheimer and Dominic Ross. ‘Having clearly defined goals and standards is a critical part Cayman
Swimming’s success.’ said a CIASA spokesperson.
CARIFTA is the Caribbean’s age-group long-course (50m pool) championship. It will be held mid-March next year.
