West Bay Road work isn’t welcomed

I am writing in regard to the West Bay Road issue. It seems that the majority of Caymanians are not being heard by the elected members for the district.

Petitions are being circulated. Why is this necessary? The members of the Legislative Assembly need only tell third parties that the people do not wish for this, so it cannot be done.

I feel that both parties have members that oppose it too.

Should a count be done to see how many persons are in the House to represent us? The citizens of Cayman should not have to go through an ordeal for their voices to be heard. The road is public.

PS – Has Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II been informed about these senseless development projects that are being proposed to the people of these Islands and their reaction to them? Also, how her loyal subjects are stressed and suffering due to the lack of proper representation by the members of the LA.

Hopefully, the governor has advised her by now and has informed her of the people’s responses.
