Rugby’s World Cup is being held in New Zealand this summer and one fortunate recipient is celebrating winning two Heineken hospitality packages from the Cayman Islands Rugby Club.
It’s for a two week vacation in New Zealand together with flights and a nice hotel and Justin Hart is the beaming winner. He will go with a guest and they hope to take in a couple of matches. “I feel so lucky,” he said.” I have never won a prize like this before so cannot believe my good fortune.”
Hart is going with his brother-in-law, Jonathan Murphy who is an avid rugby player and actually one of the better ones in Cayman.
“I am a massive sports fan in general,” he said. “I spend a great deal of my free time – which is unfortunately limited these days due to work obligations – watching and following baseball, football, hockey and golf to name a few of my favourite sports.
“Whilst my rugby knowledge is somewhat limited relative to other sports, I thoroughly enjoy watching matches and have been fortunate enough to have seen a few matches at Twickenham whilst I was studying in London.
“The atmosphere was incredible at Twickenham and I hope to be able to experience something similar in New Zealand, as they are a rugby mad country.”
He’s never been to New Zealand. “Aside from the rugby, I most look forward to playing golf at some of the great courses there including,
Titirangi Golf Club which is regarded as one of the best courses in New Zealand and is apparently very near to the hotel we will be staying at.
“I also hope to do a bit of surfing at Piha beach which is also quite near to hotel which is an iconic surf beach in New Zealand. I just hope the water isn’t too cold!
Going to the rugby club at South Sound will always be special for Hart now. “I enjoy watching the occasional match at the rugby club. It’s a great atmosphere there – very friendly and always a good time.”
