
The finals of the NORCECA beach volleyball tournament in Cayman on Sunday saw the U.S. teams winning gold medals in both the men’s and women’s divisions.

On the men’s side, Team USA Crabb/Crabb won the gold and Team Canada Plantinga/Wheelan won silver.
The scores in each game were tight, with the U.S. losing the first game 25-23, but coming back in the second game to win 21-13.
In the third and final game, Team USA won 15-11.
Team USA Ratledge/Loomis took the bronze, defeating Team Canada Nusbaum/Vandenburg.
In the women’s final between Team USA Flint/Larsen and Team Costa Rica Charles/Alfaro, Team USA won gold.
Team Mexico Rios/Santoyo beat Team Cayman Wolfenden/Gandolfi to capture the bronze medal in straight games (21-8, 21-7).
The top eight finishers also took home prize money ranging from US$3,000 to US$250.
