Three charged with corruption offences

Investigators from the Anti-Corruption Commission have charged three people with corruption offences.

The three were charged on Wednesday, 18 Dec.

Mark Anthony Manderson, a 38-year-old former public officer from George Town, was charged with one count of fraud by a public officer and one count of breach of trust.

Jeremy Alexis Williams, a 35-year-old public officer from George Town, was charged with one count of money laundering.

Shevon Roandrew McNeil, 32, from George Town, was charged with one count of money laundering.

All three have been bailed to appear in Summary Court on 28 Jan.

In a statement announcing the charges, the Anti-Corruption Commission said, “As the matter is now before the Courts, the Commission will not provide any further comment on the matter.”
