Cayman’s Vanjae Ramgeet is currently the 23rd ranked personal watercraft racer in the world, according to P1 AquaX’s global rankings. This comes after a near-perfect performance as a wild-card entry out of 30 top competitors at the P1 AquaX championships in the Bahamas earlier this year, where he placed fourth against some of the world’s best.
He bypassed tens of racers as the biggest points climber in the 30-21 ranking category after his performance at the championships. This is Ramgeet’s first appearance in the Top 50 and he came straight in at 23.

“I feel as though being ranked 23rd out of 400+ racers in the world is a great accomplishment,” he said. “However, I am looking to continue climbing through the ranks to the top 5 in the next season.” He added, “As a plan for my future overseas races, I’ll be attending the Mark Hahn 300 mile racing in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, on February 22nd, 2020. Thereafter, I will be competing in the full P1 Aqua X USA nation series. I plan to continue to put Cayman Islands on the map through the world and claim as many titles as possible.”
