Three injured in Savannah collision

Three people have been injured in a two-vehicle incident that took place on Sunday in Savannah.

According to information released by the Royal Cayman Islands Police Service, shortly after 2:30pm on on Sunday, police and emergency services were dispatched to a collision in the vicinity of Homestead Crescent and Shamrock Road, in Savannah.

One man was trapped in a vehicle. The Fire Service extracted him, and he and two others involved in the collision were transported to the George Town Hospital for treatment.

One man is in critical condition and the two other people are described as being in serious but non-life threatening condition.

The collision is being investigated by the police. The road has been reopened.
