A motorcyclist has been hospitalised with serious, but non-life threatening injuries after he collided with an SUV in George Town on Wednesday afternoon.
Police, in a brief statement Thursday, said the incident happened at 12pm on North Sound Road north of the Shedden Road intersection.
Officers, responded to the scene of the crash which involved a silver Honda SUV and a rider on a blue motorcycle.
The rider of the motorcycle was transported to the Cayman Islands Hospital by ambulance.
He remains in hospital.

The driver of the SUV escaped uninjured.
The Traffic and Roads Policing Unit is continuing investigations.
