A 26-year-old George Town man has appeared in court charged with assaulting a female jogger last month in South Sound.
He appeared in court on Wednesday afternoon.
The man, police said on Thursday morning, was granted bail with conditions, pending a further court appearance on 1 March.
The man was arrested after the incident, which occurred on 3 Jan. The victim was reportedly attacked while on her morning run and sustained injuries. She fought off the attacker and managed to get away and called for assistance.
