Caymanian golfer Holly McLean will be taking her athletic career to the next level when she begins her freshman year at University of Oklahoma in the fall of 2023.
McLean, 17, is currently finishing her studies at Albany Golf Academy in the Bahamas. She is considered to be the Cayman Islands current top female golfer, having won over 10 regional and national amateur titles, respectively, including the Junior Caribbean Championship.
She recently became Grant Thornton’s first-ever golf ambassador, which will “help generate more golf engagement”.
McLean is expected to begin her collegiate career in September next year.
