The Cayman Islands Football Association 2022 U23 Men’s Summer FA Cup semifinal matches, which were scheduled for Sunday, 11 Sept., have been postponed as a mark of respect following the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

“The Football Family is deeply saddened with the passing of Her Majesty The Queen Elizabeth II and is joining the World in mourning Her passing,” CIFA stated in an email to the Cayman Compass.

The new dates for the semifinal matches have yet to be announced.

The under-23 matches will feature East End UFC taking on Academy SC and Roma United against East End United Lions. Both games will be played at the CIFA Centre For Excellence football pitch.
