The Cayman Islands Aquatic Sports Association announced on Wednesday, 8 March that 54 swimmers will represent the jurisdiction at this year’s CARIFTA Swimming Championships in Curacao.

It’s the largest team in CIASA history, according to president Steve Broadbelt, with athletes competing across swimming, open water and artistic events.

Swimming Team

Female and male 15-17: Harper Barrowman, James Allison, Allyson Belfonte, Jordan Lisle, Sofia Bonati, Danny Kish, Jillian Crooks, Will Sellars, Lila Higgo, Dominic Hilton, Teagan Nash, Tate Marr, Kaitlyn Sullivan, Connor Macdonald and Ava Butler.

Female and male 13-14: Sierrah Broadbelt, Rufus Lovett, Riley Watson, Dominic Gunn, Reagan Lisle, Luke Higgo, Eva Oldfield, Tate Hilton and Jack Terrell.

Female and male 11-12: Lucy Butler, Lev Fahy, Cassidy Coles, Gabriel Bispath, Francesca Altamura (Relay Team), Chase Watson, Anna Oldfield (relay team) and Eli Bain (relay team).

Open Water Team

Girls and boys 16-18: Teagan Nash, Dominic Hilton, Maria Westin, Will Sellars, Ava Butler and Connor Macdonald.

Girls and boys 14-15: Riley Watson, Joshua Rose, Felicity Westin and Jack Terrell.

Artistic Swimming Team

12 and under: Marisa Miller, Kate Galatopoulos, Nicole Kazakova, Lucrezia Scerrati, Leila Coak, Georgie Head and Ava Crane.

Youth: Heidi Hayward, Riley Skinner, Rayne Euvrard, Reuben Sweetma and Amelia Travers.

Junior: Madison Van Duynhoven, Allie Capasso, Valentina Campbell, Dylan Lynee, Azania Osborne, Evie Sweetman and Alexandra Philp.
