The officers, according to an RCIPS statement, encountered a scuffle between three men around 12:50am. One of the men assaulted another, and then fled the scene on a bicycle as police arrived in their vehicle.

Police said the would-be robber did not appear to be carrying any weapons.
The suspect is described as being about 6 feet tall, of slim build and light complexion. He was dressed in a grey T-shirt and black shorts.
