The Electoral Boundary Commission is hosting a series of community meetings from 4 to 6 July to propose the constituency boundaries and talk about how they are determined.
The public is invited to attend and participate in the meetings by sharing their comments on the proposed new boundaries.
The commission said in a press release, of the 19 constituencies, 15 are affected by the proposed boundaries due to population growth experienced over the last eight years.
The districts of Bodden Town and George Town have been impacted the most.
Dr Lisa Handley, chair of the Electoral Boundary Commission, said: “The commissioners have extensively reviewed census population data, toured the constituencies, and have held a series of public hearings to gather views from Caymanians about the process and potential outcomes.”
There is a possibility that a voter’s constituency may change should the proposed electoral map be approved in parliament, the government press release said.
In the event of this taking place, the Elections Office will advise the affected voters.
