Condolence books are open for the late Captain Eldon Kirkconnell at locations across the three Cayman Islands as well as online.
They can be found at the Government Administration Building and House of Parliament in Grand Cayman, District Administration Building in Cayman Brac, and the District Office in Little Cayman.
They will be available for members of the public to sign until tomorrow, Friday, 30 June.
Caymanians living overseas will also be able to pay their respects by signing a digital condolence book at www.gov.ky/captainkirkconnell.
The Cayman Islands will also observe a two-day period of mourning in honour of the life and service of Captain Kirkconnell today and tomorrow.

Throughout the period, the Cayman Islands flag will be flown at half-mast on all public buildings.
Senior government officials and members of the Kirkconnell family participated in a flag lowering ceremony at the Government Administration Building this morning.
Captain Eldon Kirkconnell, who passed away on 8 June aged 96, served in the Legislative Assembly and the Executive Council of the Cayman Islands from 1962 to 1972.
He was awarded the honour of OBE, Order of the British Empire, by the late Queen Elizabeth II.
There will be road closures in place on Friday for the lying in state of Captain Kirkconnell.
Fort Street will be closed between Seafarers Way and Edward Street, and at Albert Panton Street, from 9am to 2:30pm.
Police are urging motorists to avoid the area during these times if possible, or otherwise exercise caution if travelling.
Members of the public can pay their respects at the House of Parliament where Captain Kirkconnell’s coffin will be in place from 10am until 2pm.
An official funeral service for the late statesman will be held at 3pm on Saturday at the Church of God Chapel on Walkers Road, George Town.
