A knife-wielding cyclist stole cash from the victim of a motorbike accident in Bodden Town on Friday evening, 28 July.

Just after 11.30am on Saturday, police received a report of the robbery which took place near North Sound Estates the day before, a press release said.

They were told that a man on a motorbike had experienced problems with his steering due to the road conditions. He lost control of his vehicle and fell off.

Shortly afterwards another man, unknown to him, approached him on a bicycle.

He brandished a knife and demanded money from the rider of the motorbike who attempted to run away.

The cyclist pursued him, until he caught the victim and took cash from him. He fled the location on the bicycle with the money.
