Three men appeared in Grand Court Friday charged in connection with an armed robbery at Rocky’s Diamond Gallery in George Town in April.

Two of the men, Othneil Hezekiah Williams and Hank Diego Robinson-Porter, are remanded in custody, and the third, Gage Rivers McLean, is on bail.

The three are accused of stealing jewellery valued at $26,554 from the jewellery store on North Church Street during the robbery.

Williams pleaded guilty to robbery, a charge his co-accused McLean denied. That charge was not put to Robinson-Porter.

The trio are also accused of possession of a firearm, a Taurus G2C 9mm pistol, with intent to commit a robbery, as well as possession of an unlicensed firearm, the same gun. McLean pleaded not guilty to those charges, which were not put to the other two.
