Police are investigating a robbery at a Bodden Town home, after two masked men armed with handguns stole jewellery from a male victim on Friday night.
Officers were alerted to the incident shortly after 10:15pm, at the residence off Shamrock Road, east of Spotts Newlands Road.
“It was reported that two men were sitting outside the residence when two masked men approached, brandishing handguns. One of the men fled into the house and the masked men followed him inside and demanded jewellery from him,” police said in a statement issued on Saturday afternoon.
The robbers left the home with items of jewellery.
No shots were fired, and no one was injured during the hold-up, the RCIPS said.
One of the suspects is described as tall and slim, about 5 feet, 8 inches in height, and of brown complexion. He was wearing a black ski mask and a black hoodie.
The second suspect is described as being shorter than the first and of slim build. He was wearing a lighter-coloured hoodie and a patterned ski mask.
The RCIPS Criminal Investigations Department is investigating the robbery.
