Police are hunting a “violent and dangerous” suspect who goes by the name ‘One Don’ in connection with drugs and firearms offences dating back to early September.
Detectives issued an alert asking for public assistance in locating 36-year-old Joel Christopher Duncan of George Town.
Duncan is wanted in relation to the recovery of two firearms, ammunition and ganja at an address in the capital on 4 Sept.
“He is to be treated as violent and dangerous, and should not be approached,” police said in a press release issued Thursday.
Anyone who sees him should call 911 immediately, the release stated.
Duncan is described as being of dark complexion, about 6’1” in height, approximately 190 lbs, with brown eyes and black hair. He is also known as “One Don.”
Police also issued a reminder to the public that it is an offence, carrying a prison sentence of up to two years, to obstruct officers in their efforts to catch someone who has committed a crime.
Anyone with information about Duncan’s whereabouts is encouraged to call the George Town Police Station at 949-4222. Anonymous tips can be provided directly to the RCIPS via the Confidential Tip Line at 949-7777, or through the RCIPS website.
