Missing teen Kiara Watson located

Update Sunday 12 Nov. 3:30pm – Missing teen Kiara Watson has been located and returned to her residence, police confirmed on Sunday.

The RCIPS, in a brief statement, said, Watson was in good health.

The teen was reported missing around 7.15pm on Tuesday 31 October.

Jahsmine Ebanks, age 16, was also reported missing along with Watson.

She remains unaccounted for at this time.

Police have renewed their call for the public’s help in locating teenagers Jahsmine Ebanks and Kiara Watson, both of whom have been missing for more than a week.

Ebanks, age 16, and Kiara Watson, age 11, went missing while they were along Seafarers Way, in George Town around 7:15pm on 31 October.

Their disappearance was subsequently reported to police.

The girls, who are from West Bay, have not been seen since and police are once again asking for the teens to return.

Ebanks was described as being dark complexion, approximately 5 feet 1 inch in height and medium build.

Police said she was wearing a black hoodie, tiger print blouse underneath, blue jeans and black slippers the last time she was seen.

Watson was described as having a dark complexion, approximately 5 feet 3 inches in height and medium build.

She was last seen wearing a black hoodie, red spaghetti strap blouse underneath, grey shorts.

The RCIPS is reminding the public that anyone who harbours or conceals a young person is guilty of an offense and is liable, on conviction, to being fined $2,000 and imprisonment for three months.

“Officers are encouraging Jahsmine and Kiara to return home to her West Bay address or to attend the nearest police station immediately,” a police statement read

Anyone with information on the teens whereabouts is encouraged to call the West Bay Police Station at 949-3999 or the M.A.S.H Unit at 649-6000.
