Two men of West Bay have been formally charged with attempted murder and unlawful possession of a firearm following a shooting at Centennial Towers.

The men, ages 24 and 41, were arrested the same day as the 22 Feb. shooting and appeared in court on Thursday, police said. They were remanded in custody and will return to court on 7 March.

Police reported that two men entered the Centennial Towers’ parking lot on foot on 22 Feb. and fired shots at two other men, striking a building and a vehicle. No injuries were reported.

“The suspects fled the scene in a black Honda Fit. A Firearms Response Unit that was in the vicinity intercepted the vehicle along Finch Drive, West Bay,” police had reported.

Following that interception, the RCIPS arrested the two men in the vehicle who have now been charged.
